"The anatomic design of New Grips is aimed at increasing comfort and improving performance. Bottom line - wearing new grips makes the workout easier, more enjoyable, and, as a result, more effective."

Dr Dean Ward:

"I incurred a crippling case of carpal tunnel syndrome several years ago. My symptoms were so severe I couldn't write, hold a book, or even shake hands--let alone exercise. Nothing seemed to offer any relief. So I did an internet search for "carpal tunnel relief".

The two regimens that seemed to be most helpful were your NewGrip pads, combined with a set of gloves called FlexTend, and a set of accompanying exercises. I lost one of the FlexTend gloves, but continue to do the exercises (basically, hyperextending the fingers and hands 40-50 times per day). The combination of doing the exercises, and protecting my hands and "softening" the grip with your NewGrip pads have really been very effective--dramatic relief within several days (after months of near-incapacitation)! My carpal tunnel symptoms are not totally gone, but they are minimal--as long as I continue to do the exercises, and use my NewGrips.

"I don't leave home without them."

Thanks for making such a simple and very helpful product."

Guaranteed relief for
carpal tunnel syndrome, numbness and tingling in the hands...or your money back!

Numbness in the hands can be quite scary. What is the cause?
What can I do? Am I getting carpal tunnel syndrome?

numbness of the hands, tingling, carpal tunnel syndrome
First of all let me assure you: hand numbness can be relieved and in many cases healed. The more you know about CTS the better the chances of total cure.

Cause: Stress injury due to prolonged, repeated movements of the hands or fingers. Overuse or repetitive movements of the hands on the job or during leisure activities can inflame tendons or ligaments, causing them to swell and compress the median nerve. Here is probably what is happening to you:

The long (median) nerve running from your your shoulder and bicep, around your elbow and then, after it passes through your carpal tunnel (along with several tendons) it branches out like the roots of a tree to supply nutrients and nerve clusters to your palms and finger... actually over 1 million clusters in your hands alone!

These nerve clusters are what make your hands and fingers so sensitive to touch.

But.. what happens to them from over use, hard work, and being crushed by raw metal weight bars and poorly padded equipment handles?

Compression on the nerve cuts off blood flow and numbness sets in.

Then, if the pain area does not heal will move further up the body and inflame the nerves and or tendons in your wrists or elbows.

This is one way people get carpal tunel syndrome, forearm tendonitis, tennis elbow, numbness or tingling in the hands.

Now.. pad your hands with NewGrips and those nerve endings will be protected, relaxed and have a chance to heal.

In fact the longer you use NewGrips the better your hands and wrists will feel.

The NewGrip Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Solution:

Cushion your palms and fingers with enough protection to absorb weight bar pressure.

NewGrips do this with 7/32 inch (5 mm) of resilient neoprene. The hand pads prevent further crushing and bruising of the soft tissue of your hands, increasing blood flow and helps restore nerve endings back to normal.

NewGrips bring relief...
jerrod webster - numbness in hands - weight lifting "I originally purchased the NewGrip gloves because they claimed to alleviate hand numbness from weight lifting, and boy did they work! The numbness is gone, but the NewGrip gloves are not. The additional grip and confidence they gave me during lifting were bonuses, and now I would never consider using another product. NewGrips are the best weight lifting glove for CTS on the market. "
- Jerrod Webster, California

"I just have to tell you....the other night I forgot to wear your wrist supports to bed...and my arms just ached and I couldn't move my fingers very well. But I did not forget to wear them last night and when I woke up I felt a lot better.. No doubt your wrist bands stabilize my wrists. I am so thankful for your wrist support."

How Do NewGrips Work?

Our Hand Pads perform like shock absorbers to pad and protect your hands; finger joints, nerve endings, median nerve and tendons from pain and pressure.

(No leather glove pads both your fingers and palms as effectively!)

NewGrips include Wrist Support Wraps. They should be worn as often as possible, even outside the gym. They help increase blood flow which supplies more oxygen to your carpal tunnel area.

    TIPS
    for quick relief:

Grip, hold and lift WITHOUT squeezing so hard.

    1. >CARPAL TUNNEL or HAND NUMBNESS

How to heal these syndromes is not well understood.

Remember that they START because the nerve endings in the fingers get over stressed. This tenses and shortens the median nerve which strains the wrist.

Many of our customers have discovered that NewGrips relieve this strain by properly padding hands and fingers, while out wrist support stabilizes the carpal tunnel area.

    Here are some suggestions:

    (1) Relaxing your grip relieves tension on nerves and tendons.

    (2) Cushioning your wrist against impact relaxes the key median nerve.

    (3) Rest, accompanied by hot and cold water soaks of hands and wrists, up to your elbows.

    (4) Rub an analgesic cream on your wrists, morning and night.

(5)Wrap wrists in flannel at bed time to relax nerves and tendons.

(6)During the day, gently stretch and rotate your fingers and wrists slowly in all directions. Keep them mobile and supple.

    (7) As often as possible lift your hands above your head and let the blood drain out of your hands. 'Pooled' blood reduces circulation. Shake your hands gently as well. Lower your hands when they feel 'cool'.

Customer Testimonial: Using NewGrips AFTER Carpal Tunnel Surgery

    3.>WRIST STRAIN:
Proper form is the key. Keep the bar centered in your palm. Do not allow the bar to roll forward into your fingers, because this forces your wrists to bend forward; which can over stretch tendins and hurt.

"New Grips offer patients a way to return to lifting weights while protecting and supporting the median nerve. This is an ergonomic break through"
