TIPS
for hand pain relief:
Grip, hold and lift WITHOUT squeezing so hard.
Pain starts in your hands; because the sensitive pain receptors (nerve endings) in your fingers and palms become inflammed from weight bar pressure and over squeezing your grip. This stresses the median nerve which passes through the carpal tunnel in your wrist and extends up through your forearm, bicep, shoulder and neck.
Many of NewGrip users experience hand pain relief because Grips properly pad hands, fingers and the carpal tunnel area.
Here are some suggestions:
(1) Relaxing your grip relieves tension on
nerves and tendins.
(2) Protecting and padding your hands and carpal tunnel area
against impact relaxes the key median nerve.
(3) Rest, accompanied by hot and cold
water soaks of hands and wrists, up to your elbows.
(4) Rub an analgesic cream (preferable one with capiscum (cayenne pepper) on your hands/wrists, morning and night.
(5)Wrap hands/wrists in flannel at bed time.
This relaxes nerves and tendins.
(6)During the day, gently stretch and rotate your fingers and wrists slowly in all directions. Keep them mobile and supple.
(7) As often as possible lift your hands above your head and let the blood drain out of your hands. 'Pooled' blood reduces circulation. Shake your hands gently as well. Lower your hands when they feel 'cool'.

Proper form is the
key. Keep the bar centered in your palm. Do not allow the bar to roll forward into your
fingers, because this forces your wrists to bend forward; which
can over stretch tendins and hurt.

Here is a tip to help calluses go away sooner. In between sets, slip your hands out of the elastic straps and rub your calluses gently, while pushing them down into the skin. This will help them fade away.
